Free Belarus Museum Updates the Exhibition of the “Point of Entry” Collection Project

On 8 September, Belarusian Military Glory Day, the Free Belarus Museum updated the exhibition of the “Point of Entry” collection project.

The new section of the exhibition is dedicated to Belarusians fighting for the freedom of Belarus and Ukraine. Their stories are told through personal belongings and artefacts from the war zone.

Among the new exhibits are combat boots belonging to a soldier with the call sign “Respect”, who took part in the fighting near Lysychansk on 26 June 2022; a fragment of a tile from destroyed Bakhmut, brought out by Alaksandar “Kus” Kłaczko; a tank helmet belonging to Maksim Ralko; drone components; a bullet; a fragment of a Grad rocket; one of the early chevrons of the Kastuś Kalinoŭski Battalion; and other objects donated to the Museum’s collection.

The exhibition will also feature a film photograph taken in a war zone and donated to the museum collection.

“Point of Entry” offers an opportunity to see contemporary Belarusian history through authentic objects belonging to people who became its direct participants.
