We continue to share stories about Belarusian culture, Belarus’s recent history and the democratic movement through our collection of artefacts, exhibitions and museum events. The results of the past three months show that our work is reaching audiences both in the museum and online.
Here is a look at this period in numbers.

‍

Instagram

— 253,800 views over three months;
— 112 new followers, a 4% increase;
— the highest reach was achieved by posts showing behind-the-scenes moments from Warsaw Gallery Weekend. This year, the Free Belarus Museum became the only Belarusian venue in the official Warsaw Gallery Weekend programme for the first time, presenting a Belarusian artist and a Belarusian art team.

The post that generated the most audience engagement and sharing featured an event with Papa Bo at the Free Belarus Museum. A total of 226 people shared it to their Instagram Stories.

‍

Facebook

— an average of 21,000 views per month;
— one of the most popular posts was a Reel featuring Pavel Seviarynets, who donated artefacts to the museum.
The museum not only collects and preserves artefacts but also documents Belarus’s recent history. We record testimonies and events related to Belarus on video and share these materials on social media. In this way, we preserve the memory of the present and build a documentary heritage for future generations.

‍

Museum website

— 2,200 new users over three months;
— 15,000 activities recorded on the website;
— a 107% increase in performance metrics.
The English-language version of the website remains the most popular, followed by the Belarusian and Polish versions. In addition to news and event announcements, visitors are increasingly exploring the museum’s artefact collection.

‍

Museum visits

Over the past three months, 3,659 people visited the Free Belarus Museum in person.
Behind every number is an interest in our work, new encounters with the museum’s collection and participation in the events we organise.
Thank you to everyone who reads and shares our content, follows our updates, visits the museum and supports our work!
