The exhibition hyperMother. Shared Breathing by Alexander Adamau has come to an end. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
From 18 September to 4 October, the exhibition welcomed 1,600 visitors. Thank you for coming, staying, asking questions and sharing your thoughts. It was a pleasure to see both familiar faces and those visiting the museum for the first time.
For this time, the museum became part of the hyperMother “sanatorium of the future”, where we reflected together on exhaustion, care and freedom. On what happens when we hand over responsibility for ourselves to someone else, and where care ends and control begins.
Thank you to Alexander Adamau for the exhibition, his trust and conversations with visitors; to Zuza Szczepańska for the performance; to Hanna Gataleta for the English-language tours; and to Liza Mas for coordinating the exhibition. A big thank you to the entire museum team and to everyone who helped prepare the exhibition and its events over these weeks — for your work and attention.
Special thanks to our partners: ArtPower Belarus, Art Square Foundation and the Warsaw Gallery Weekend team. Thank you to everyone who shared information about the exhibition, invited friends and supported the museum.
We continue to breathe together and are getting ready for our next meeting. On 10 October, we will open an exhibition by Fyodar Kisialyou, marking the 80th anniversary of his birth. More details coming soon.
