A celebration for the children of Belarusian political prisoners, “New Year’s Tree at the Museum of Free Belarus,” took place in Warsaw.

Guests enjoyed treats and received gifts, and they also watched the play “The Sad Soup” performed by the Pryekhali Theatre.

According to the co-founder, director, and actor Aliaksandr Yendzheyeuski:
"From the very beginning, we created this performance as a family show. Of course, that was the main goal. But we also wanted to bring a bit of warmth to the parents. As the saying goes, happy parents mean happy children. That’s why it is very rewarding for us to see smiles on both the children’s faces and the approving looks of the parents. That way, we know we have brought something good and warm to such a bright holiday as Christmas."

A special guest of the event was the Belarusian Ded Moroz — Zyuzya.

The event was held with the support of the Dzіeja druhaja Theatre, the Tutaka Foundation, the Belarusian Association of Political Prisoners “Da Voli,” and the Flemish General Representation in Poland and the Baltic States.

The organizers of the event were the Museum of Free Belarus and the National Anti-Crisis Administration.
