On the occasion of the Day of the Constitution of Belarus, the platform prastora.info has launched two online tests titled “The Constitution on Paper and in Real Life.” The interactive format allows users to check which provisions of the Belarusian Constitution are actually respected today and which remain only declarations.
The test is based on real articles of the Constitution and real-life stories. Users read a quotation from the basic law and answer a single question: is this provision respected today or not?
Each answer is accompanied by a specific case – including stories of Maria Kalesnikava, Viktar Babaryka, Nina Bahinskaya, as well as events such as the closure of the independent media outlet TUT.by and the detention facility on Akrestsina Street in Minsk.
“We didn’t want to create propaganda, but a mirror,” say the authors of the project. “When a person comes to a conclusion on their own, it is far more powerful than any statement.”
The test is intended not only for people interested in politics. It presents human stories about the gap between legal provisions and reality – a topic that concerns everyone. Behind each constitutional article there is a real story: that of Maria Kalesnikava, Viktar Babaryka, journalists, doctors, and ordinary citizens.
The test takes about two minutes to complete and is available in Belarusian at:

In addition, the prastora.info platform has also developed a quiz called “Constitutional Ninja,” which helps users learn more about the draft of the new constitution:https://novakanstytucyjatest.prastora.info/
