New Exhibit at the Museum of Free Belarus

A personal letter written by political prisoner Volha Takarchuk to herself during her time in detention

Volha spent a year and a half in prison. In this letter, she sought to preserve her emotions — when hope turned into fear, and fear back into hope. Today, the letter serves as a reminder for her and for all of us: if she could endure then, she can endure now.

The exhibit was made possible with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Warsaw.
