Maxim Znak’s Musical Evening at the Free Belarus Museum

On 4 September, a musical evening with Maxim Znak took place at the Artistic Courtyard and the Free Belarus Museum, featuring songs, personal stories and encounters.

Maxim’s songs from different years were performed, and between the performances he shared stories about their creation, his encounters and collaborations with Belarusian musicians, as well as the stories behind individual compositions.

Maxim Znak also read a story from his new book The Colonists, which is already being prepared for publication, and presented the music video for the song “Lighthouses”, which will be released soon.

Lawon Volski and Uladzimir Puhach also joined Maxim on stage. One of the evening’s special moments was their joint performance of “The Flying Dutchman” – a song by Maxim Znak that Lawon Volski first performed in 2020, when the author was imprisoned.
