On July 17 at 19:00, the opening of the exhibition “Fragmenty” will take place at the Free Belarus Museum in Warsaw, followed by a solidarity concert in the museum courtyard on July 18 at 19:00 featuring Belarusian acts Zui, Kriwi, and Uladzimir Puhach. Both events are timed to mark the museum’s third anniversary — a space of memory that, since 2022, has collected and reflected on the history of Belarusian resistance through artifacts, art, and personal testimonies.

Over three years, the Free Belarus Museum has grown from an idea into a full-fledged institution with a clear mission and a significant societal role. It preserves and presents what often remains invisible: personal belongings, documents, artistic gestures, and materials from the streets, prisons, and everyday life after 2020. The museum’s collection also includes items from other periods of Belarusian history, donated by patrons, cultural figures, collectors, and eyewitnesses. With over 250 artifacts, more than 100 cultural events annually, thousands of visitors, and dozens of partner initiatives, the museum is a living space that evolves with its community.

The July 18 concert will showcase contemporary Belarusian music. Zui blends indie-pop and electronic sounds with emotional expressiveness, while Kriwi combine traditional folk instruments with modern electronics and visual effects to create distinctive folk experiments. Uladzimir Puhach will present an acoustic program — open, emotional, and attuned to the rhythm of today. The concert will take place in the cozy museum courtyard, where guests can enjoy the music, meet friends, and support those who continue to create and take action.
