On March 28, 2026, Warsaw will host a grand celebration of the 108th anniversary of the proclamation of the Belarusian People’s Republic.
Freedom Day is more than just a date. It is a symbol of our independence and dignity. For over a century, this holiday has reminded us that Belarus lives as long as our desire to be free lives. Today, when the celebration is banned in the country, it is our duty to make the voice of Belarusians heard around the world. In 2026, Warsaw will become one of the main centers of the celebrations, and we invite everyone to join.
The celebration will begin at 16:00 at Trzech Krzyży Square. Attendees will hear speeches from political and civic leaders, including Father Viachaslau Barok.
The event will continue with a grand march through central Warsaw. Participants, carrying a 330-meter national flag, will proceed to Castle Square. The column will be accompanied by Belarusian bagpipers and the historical reconstruction club Invictus 1863.
The final stop will be Castle Square, where political and civic leaders, including Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, Pavel Latushka, and others, will speak.
A cultural program will also take place, featuring:
