
The display features works in various media, from graphics to sculpture.
“The histories of Poland and Belarus have many intersections,” the artist told our radio station. “This exhibition is a dialogue between the past and the present. I connected the political situation in Belarus with New Figuration art in Poland, which emerged after Socialist Realism, and I drew inspiration from that period of Polish art, combining these histories. The exhibition is called ‘Retraumatisation’ because it represents experiencing trauma anew. This experience was inspired first by the January Uprising, then by the situation in Poland, and later by events in Belarus — and this history repeats itself.”






The event will run until December 8 inclusive.
