“Today, Ales Pushkin would have turned 60. The artist left behind a vibrant creative legacy and a presence that resonates deeply in our cultural memory. Ales expressed his love for Belarus through his works and actions—bold, candid, and full of human dignity. The regime tortured Ales behind bars, yet his creations, spirit, and courage continue to inspire Belarusians.
In Warsaw, the exhibition “Zastać/Zostać” opens, dedicated to Ales’s memory and the values he conveyed through his art. I plan to visit the exhibition and would be delighted to see you there, so we can remember our artist together. It is an opportunity to feel connected to those who continue to speak through art and to support Belarusian creators who have not lost their voice even in exile.”

More about the exhibition on Instagram: @pushkinart and the project website: alespushkin.com.

The exhibition runs from August 6 to 20 in the courtyard of the Museum of Free Belarus (Foksal 11, Warsaw).

Admission is free. The official opening will take place on August 6 at 19:00.
