On July 17, the Museum of Free Belarus opened the exhibition “Fragmenty”, organized as part of the museum’s Creative Presentation. The exhibition presents unique artifacts from the Museum’s collection covering the years 2020–2025 — testimonies of recent history that have become symbols of resistance, heroism, and hope.

Among the exhibits are items of exceptional historical and emotional value:

  • a rubber bullet that remained in the body of a protest participant and was later surgically removed;
  • T-shirts with photographs of a son, sent by his mother to prison as a sign of support;
  • a phone broken in half belonging to a documentary filmmaker who became a victim of brutal beating;
  • personal belongings of Raman Bandarenka, whose story became a symbol of the resilience of Belarusian society;
  • a protest coat against the war with attached ribbons as evidence of civic stance;
  • a flag bearing the names of political prisoners, continuously updated, symbolizing the ongoing struggle for freedom.

The exhibition “Fragmenty” not only introduces visitors to the history of protests and civic resistance but also creates a space for reflection on what it means to remember and preserve the testimonies of these events. The display urges us to see behind each object a concrete human story and to continue solidarity with those whose struggle is still ongoing.
