On 18 October, the Free Belarus Museum, together with Belarusian PEN, will host a memorial evening dedicated to Natallia Adamovich — the daughter of Belarusian writer Ales Adamovich and a guardian of his legacy.
For many years, Natallia Adamovich worked to preserve and study materials related to her father’s life and work. She worked with his family archive, letters and notebooks, and took part in preparing new editions of his works.
Through her work, the memory of Ales Adamovich, his life, his literary work and his significance for Belarusian culture was preserved.
During the evening, we will remember Natallia Aliaksandrawna, talk about her life and work, and discuss the legacy of Ales Adamovich. Together, we will reflect on how we can preserve the memory of Belarusian writers and artists today and pass their legacy on to future generations.
We invite everyone who cares about Belarusian literature, culture and historical memory.
18 October, 14:00
Free Belarus Museum, ul. Foksal 11, Warsaw
