“The forest hears, the field sees” is a series of paintings, each inspired by a Belarusian proverb, such as: “God is not a calf — He sees the trickster,” “If not this, then something else,” and “Do your work diligently — and here will be Vilnius”…
The paintings are filled with fog, cold, shadows, and ambiguity — perhaps reflecting how the artist sees the present day or the future of Belarus.
The exhibition opening, accompanied by a live musical performance by the artist, will take place on Saturday, April 11 at 16:00.
The finissage of the exhibition, including a guided tour by Lavon Volski, will take place on April 24 at 18:00.
