This year, the Free Belarus Museum will be the only Belarusian venue participating in Warsaw Gallery Weekend, the largest contemporary art festival in Central Europe.
Now in its 16th edition, this major event transforms Warsaw into a city-wide platform for contemporary art, bringing together dozens of galleries, more than 60 exhibitions, and hundreds of artists. We are proud to represent Belarusian contemporary art as part of this prestigious festival.
On 18 September, the Museum of Free Belarus will open “hyperMOTHER.Shared Breathing”, a new exhibition by Alexander Adamau. Conceived as an ongoing long-term project, the exhibition explores the biopolitics of care, the delegation of corporeality, and the existential fatigue of contemporary life.
We will soon share more details about the exhibition, the public programme, and accompanying events.
Join us and become part of this major celebration of contemporary art!
