The Free Belarus Museum invites you to an author talk and presentation of the book by Anton Bialajeu
“How I Spent That Summer”.
📅 February 5
🕔 5:00 PM
📍 Warsaw, ul. Foksal 11
The meeting will focus on the book, the time in which it was written, and the personal and social experiences that shaped the text. It will also provide space for reflection on contemporary Belarusian reality, memory, the vulnerability of personal expression, and the boundaries of freedom of speech.
The event at the Free Belarus Museum takes place as part of the exhibition by the Belarusian PEN Center
“Belarus. Voices of Banned Books.” Although Anton Bialajeu’s book is not currently included on official lists of banned publications, the themes it addresses mean that, in today’s Belarus, it could also come under the pressure of censorship.
Free admission.
We invite you to join the discussion.
