Our partners at Memorial.Polska have published an interview with Maryna Zolatava, former editor-in-chief of TUT.BY, one of Belarus’s largest independent media outlets.
Maryna Zolatava was sentenced to 12 years in prison in Belarus for her professional work. Since her release, she has continued to speak about her experience of political persecution, the work of independent media, and what it means to remain a journalist under conditions of repression.
In the Polish version of the interview, Maryna speaks with the Memorial.Polska team about her experiences, her work at TUT.BY, and the years she spent in prison.
